Sales Support Defense


Over the last 20 years, AvAir has a become a global leader in the aviation aftermarket, servicing 3100 customers in 127 countries. We are looking for a Sales Support associate to join our Defense Aerospace team. As Sales Support, you will offer support to the Defense Team to maintain and ensure excellence in sales and customer service.

Reporting to

Vice President – Defense


  • Accurately enter all vendor quote, customer quote, sales order and purchase order data into ERP system and other methods/applications as instructed
  • Researches and obtains accurate pricing information from marketplaces for various aircraft parts
  • Promptly responds to customer requests and order inquiries
  • Coordinates with the warehouse department to obtain records and images of inventory for customer requests
  • Coordinates with shipping team to determine the most appropriate logistical solution to transport parts
  • Collaborates with appropriate departments to ensure the full order cycle is completed accurately for all orders (processing orders to shipment)
  • Follows up with the customer to provide tracking and order information
  • Ability to communicate clearly with team members
  • Completes assignments promptly


  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years data entry required
  • 1-2 years customer service experience required
  • Maintains a professional demeanor 
  • Demonstrates efficient time management skills
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow established procedures
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask required
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word and Excel)
  • Self-motivated, requiring little direct supervision
  • Excellent attendance, reliability, and punctuality
  • Demonstrates efficient time management skills
