CHANDLER, Ariz. – AvAir is in the business of keeping planes in the air, and now, the Chandler-based aviation aftermarket parts provider has risen to the top of one of the most exclusive lists in modern business –– for the second time.
According to Inc., tens of thousands of companies have applied to the Inc. 5000 over the years, but only a small number have landed on the list more than once. In fact, only one in four companies have made the list two or more times.
On average, the companies on the list have grown sixfold since 2015 –– which is impressive given that the overall economy grew 12 percent.
“We’re of the mindset that strong company culture is what ultimately sets successful businesses apart from the rest of the pack, and we believe it’s our amazing workforce, combined with our clear vision for future growth, that’s helped us land this accolade,” said Mike Bianco, AvAir’s chief executive officer. “We’re extremely excited to be included in this prestigious list for the second time alongside so many other businesses we respect and admire.” Bianco, himself, is no stranger to recognition, having earned inclusion on Airline Economics’ recent “40 Under 40” list and a feature in AZBusiness’s “Thirty-Something” issue in 2018.
AvAir’s progressive growth is driven by delivering award-winning service to current and expanding clients while spearheading strategic acquisitions throughout the industry.
“While we’re always focusing on responsible growth, we’re also focused on maintaining a strong and reliable reputation in the aviation industry and seeking out new partnerships, as evidenced by our recent work on the Stratolaunch earlier this spring,” Bianco said, referencing AvAir’s assistance in supplying parts for what has since become the world’s largest aircraft. “It’s a careful balance, but it’s one we’ve managed to achieve, and we’re eager to make continued contributions to the aviation industry.”
